Chase came into ACC as an agency stray and was found tied up not far from the Queens Care Center. During his stay in the care center, Chase has been observed hard barking, growling, and bearing teach at staff. When his intake was being done, Chase was hard-barking and lunging at anyone that approached. Due to behavior in the care center, we recommend placement in an adult-only home through a New Hope partner. We recommend placement with a New Hope partner who can provide any necessary behavior modification (force-free, positive reinforcement-based) and re-evaluate behavior in a stable home environment before placement into a permanent home.
