Meet Cider! 🐾

Cider is a sensitive boy who is still learning that he can feel safe and secure around people. He came to us as a stray, so we don't have any information about his past or previous home life. The shelter environment has been overwhelming for him, and he has shown a great deal of fear while in our care.

The good news is that Cider is making progress! He has slowly begun warming up to select staff members, is allowing minimal handling, and seems to be gaining confidence a little more each day. These small steps are meaningful milestones for a dog who is still learning to trust.

Cider will need a patient, understanding adopter who is willing to give him the time and space he needs to adjust at his own pace. A calm environment, a predictable routine, and a gentle approach will be important as he continues building confidence. Cider is still finding his footing, but with patience and compassion, we hope to see him continue to blossom into a more comfortable and confident companion. ❤️
