Hi my name is Midnight Ride (but my foster family calls me Minnow)! I’m small but mighty, and have a lot of energy to play. My foster family says I’m sweet and cuddly, but also goofy and so much fun. I haven’t spent any time with other pets since I’ve been with my foster family, but I am interested whenever I pass dogs on the street. I don’t know how I would be around kids, but since I’m still a puppy I play a little rough. I am currently being crate and house trained, but still have some accidents in the house as I adjust to my new neighborhood. I’m not a big shedder, and my hair is on the shorter side. My family says I’m rambunctious, adorable, and affectionate (although I’m still learning the difference between kisses and love bites). I am super high energy when I’m awake, but I still get sleepy really often so I take a lot of naps. I just learned to bark, it’s not very often or very loud. I’m just trying to chat. I’m still learning how to walk on the leash and I am getting better every day. I have a biiiiig appetite, I eat three times a day but I always lick the bowl totally clean. I’ll never say no to a treat, either. I love any toy I can pull at, snuggling on the couch, and discovering new things. I’m a very curious pup. I am getting so good at sitting and going into my bed/crate. I’m very food motivated when it comes to training.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it's a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea.
