Meet Terrence!
Terrence was found as a stray, tied up and alone, and he's now hoping to find the safe and loving home he deserves. This handsome boy is a little reserved when meeting new people, but tasty treats can help bring him out of his shell. Once he's feeling comfortable, he's happy to stay nearby and take things at his own pace.

My Ideal Home
Terrence would love a calm, quiet home where he can settle in without too much fuss. His new family should be patient and give him plenty of time to get comfortable, using treats and positive reinforcement to help him build confidence. He's a nice, easygoing walker who doesn't pull on leash and would enjoy having a predictable routine with his favorite people.

Good with Other Pets?
Terrence came to us without any known history with other dogs. During a recent introduction, he was calm and neutral around another dog, so he may enjoy having a canine companion with the right introduction. Any new friendships should still start slowly and give Terrence plenty of time to feel comfortable.

Good with Kids?
Terrence would do best in an adult-only home where he can enjoy a little extra peace and quiet while he settles in. He's a sensitive boy who appreciates having the choice to approach new people and experiences when he's ready.

Things to Know
Terrence can be a little unsure about being handled, so his family should let him set the pace and use positive reinforcement to help him become more comfortable with touch. He follows his handler nicely on walks and can warm up with a little coaxing and some yummy treats. Give this sweet boy some time, and he'll be ready to show you the wonderful companion hiding behind that shy exterior.
