Love the puppy size and puppy sweetness but not a fan of the puppy stage? If so, Shyly is the girl for you.

At 3 years young and 39 lbs, Shyla is a beautiful girl inside and out. Shyla has some of her basic commands like 'sit' and 'stay' mastered and she's the poster child for adult dogs learning new tricks as she is currently practicing her 'stay' command.

On leash Shyla can be a bit timid and we continue to see her confidence grow each day by simply having a patient handler and yummy treats. Even though Shyla is meek on the leash, she is extremely easy to manage.

Gentle is the name of the game for Shyla who is quickly acclimating to loud noises and fast movements in her foster home as she realizes that being apart of a family structure can be safe. Same goes for introductions to other dogs - Shyla is submissive and reserved and would be a great candidiate for respectful, understanding playmates who can give her time to come out of her shell and learn them as she figures out her play style.

One area that Shyla is outspoken in happens to be affection and physical touch. Shyla LOVES to be pet, cuddled and interactive play with her toys and humans. Shyla is actively building up her resilience to be amongst large groups of people and has shown how resilient she is with small group intros! Shyla is learning to use her crate as a safe space anytime she feels unsure and a kong toy has been the perfect way to reinforce that crate can equal friend.

Shy Girl is fully housebroken outside of the initial arrival accidents which are to be expected for a lovely lady who wears her heart on her sleeve the way Shyla does. Shyla would thrive in a home with an adopter who is interested in the bonding experience that comes when a pup learns their new person and a person learns their new pup.

If you are also more of a slow and steady wins the race type of person, Shyla is ready to inch into your heart!
