Meet Hakimi! 🐾

Hakimi is one of three girls in a litter of five, mostly white with a few brown spots. She's the fearless one of the bunch — with new people she doesn't hold back, and among her littermates she's earned a reputation as the spiciest player around. She's the only puppy in the litter brave enough to go toe-to-toe with the household's 45 lb adult dog, charging in for a wrestle without a second of hesitation. She's quick to charge you too, but for kisses — she's an affectionate girl who loves attention as much as she loves a good tussle.

The outside world has been a bigger adjustment for her — after a lifetime in a small apartment, the big wide world is still pretty overwhelming, and she's only had a handful of outings so far. She's still finding her footing on the leash, but her foster family is confident she'll grow to love it with a little more time and practice.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea.

Just Rescues does not process applications. The rescue's page is authoritative.
