Description provided by Waggytail Rescue

Ringo is a 9-year-old, 20-pound boston terrier/ jack russell terrier mix from New York who is looking for his forever home. After being adopted from Waggytail 10 years ago, Ringo was unexpectedly returned and has now been back with the rescue for three months. Despite such a big change later in life, he has shown us just how resilient and loving he is.

Ringo is a sweet, loyal little guy who forms a strong bond with his people once he feels comfortable. He can be a little reserved when meeting someone new, but give him some time and you’ll quickly see his affectionate, endearing personality come through.

He is fully house-trained outside and on pads, enjoys going for walks, and is just as happy spending a quiet afternoon relaxing by your side. Ringo doesn’t need anything fancy, he’s looking for a patient, loving home where he can feel secure, settle into a routine, and know that he belongs.

After spending nearly his entire life in one home, starting over at 9 years old hasn’t been easy. Three months later, Ringo is still waiting for someone to choose him. We know there is a family out there who will give this sweet, scruffy boy the second chance and forever he deserves.

And yes, his signature little tooth comes included.

He does well with other dogs, cats and older children.

Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, bordetella, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Heartworm negative and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal.
