ABOUT ME: Fair warning: my first post is a little shy. Give me a minute to sniff around and I'll flop right over for belly rubs, which is basically my way of hitting follow. A truck driver found me and looked after me for a while, but her life is on the road and I'm ready for a permanent home base. Other dogs? I mostly sniff and keep scrolling. You, though? HISTORY

Tumblr was found as a stray in Georgia and cared for by a local good Samaritan until she could no longer keep him. He was boarding at a local vet's office until we met him. He will travel to Brooklyn in mid-October 2026.

DETAILED PROFILE

Every good blog starts with a quiet first post, and Tumblr's is no exception. This sweet, curious boy can be a little shy when he meets someone new, but give him a moment to take in the scene and he's quick to warm up. His signature move? A full belly flop that says "okay, you're cool, rubs please." Once he decides you're one of his people, he's all sweetness.

Tumblr was found as a stray by a Good Samaritan who gave her a temporary home. She had another dog of her own, so he already knows a thing or two about sharing space. When we introduced him to other dogs, he mostly sniffed them and went about his business without seeming worried, which is a promising start for a dog who prefers to keep things drama-free.

He's currently working on a very important glow-up: a good bath, some extra meals to fill out his frame, and plenty of TLC. He'll arrive in Brooklyn soon, and we'll learn a lot more about him as he settles into a foster home. Details like his house and crate training, leash skills, energy level, and how he does with kids and cats are still to come, so stay tuned for updates.

What we already know is that Tumblr is a gentle, friendly guy who responds to calm attention. He'll do well with an adopter who lets him come to them at his own pace and is ready to reward his curiosity with plenty of belly rubs. Hit follow on this one. His best content is still to come.

MEDICAL HISTORY

The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
