Caprese is at risk due to behavioral concerns in care. Caprese has been observed to have arousal issues resulting in him fixating on objects, biting his leash, jumping up, and barking at the neighboring dogs. Recently, Caprese had an incident where he bit and held a basket outside of the care center, being unable to be redirected easily. Another incident occurred where Caprese bit and held a hose on a walk, and he was unable to be redirected. Caprese is noted by staff and volunteers to be sweet, social, and enjoys pets. Medically, Caprese is apparently healthy

Caprese arrived at MACC as a stray with no known history. While in care, Caprese has been observed to be mouthy and has a low threshold for arousal. Noted to take treats with a hard mouth and fixate on inanimate objects such as the hose. Due to the detailed behavior, we recommend an experienced adult only home.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I am playful and cute!

I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy!
