Meet Georgia Peach!

Georgia Peach was found tied to a pole and is now hoping to find a safe place to call home. She's a young girl who can be wary when meeting new people, but she will take treats and approaches with some gentle coaxing. With a little patience and a lot of kindness, this Peach may just be ready to ripen into a wonderful companion!

My Ideal Home

Georgia would love a patient adult who understands that confidence takes time to grow. A calm home with daily walks, enrichment, food puzzles, and plenty of positive experiences will help her feel safe and start coming out of her shell.

Good with Other Pets?

Georgia's history with other animals is unknown, and she was too fearful to complete her dog assessment. For now, she would benefit from settling into her new home before any introductions are considered.

Good with Kids?

Georgia would do best in an adult only home because she has shown fearfulness while in our care. Her people should give her the choice to approach new things and allow her to build trust at her own pace.

Things to Know

Georgia can be tense and wary during handling, especially when she is unsure of what is happening. She will need a family who can take things slowly, use reward based training, and give her plenty of time to decompress. She's looking for someone who can help her discover that life can be pretty peachy!
