Blockbuster was surrendered by his previous owner because his previous family was evicted from their home. His previous family described him as a social, affectionate couch potato who could be solitary, yet an active dog who needs time to warm up to new people. He was noted to spend most of his time in the living room when he is not napping in his crate. Blockbuster enjoys playing with rope toys and playing with balls. He loves all forms of dog treats. During his stay in care, Blockbuster has been highly fearful and will shutdown/panacake when walking. He has shown some social behaviors with select staff when given space and a slow approach. Due to these concerns, we recommend that Blockbuster be placed in an adult-only home through a New Hope Rescue partner where he can decompress and acclimate at his own pace.
