Portia

Chinese Crested · New York, ny

Portia is sweet, smart, cuddly, and committed to sleeping in. She loves cuddling up in her bed with a blanket over her, but prefers curling up on or near her humans on the couch.

Portia has been brave on the NYC streets, walking very well! She goes to the bathroom on her pee pads but is working on going outside only and is making quick progress!

She is really quiet and patient. She mainly enjoys sleeping but definitely gets her bursts of energy zooming around and ultimately ending up curled up in a cozy spot somewhere.

Portia is great in the crate - does not cry or bark to get out at all. She’s so funny and such a cute personality.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea.

Just Rescues does not process applications. The rescue's page is authoritative.
