This sweet, low-maintenance girl is a professional snoozer who happily supervises the home or office from the comfort of her dog bed. She greets every human like an old friend, belly up and ready for head scratches, and has zero interest in chewing, barking, jumping on people or causing trouble.
Her quirks? She's still learning that walks are for strolling, not shouting at other animals. She's also not the biggest fan of peanut butter or stairs (though she'll put up with both if she has to). Give her a crunchy snack, preferably plant-based-watermelon cubes, green beans, cabbage, cucumber, you name it-and she'll be your biggest fan.
LaGuardia's motto: **nap hard, snack often, love everyone.** 🐾💤

My ideal home

A calm, adult-only home that will give LGA time to decompress and continue positive-reinforcement training. She's easy-going inside, enjoys meeting new people, and thrives with a predictable routine, enrichment (sniffy walks, food puzzles), and lots of cuddle breaks. Adult-only (no children under 13). LGA is working on her confidence and can be uncomfortable around high-energy environments. LGA can become tense around other dogs on leash and has shown kennel reactivity. She may do best as the only pet while she builds skills.(Cats: unknown.)

Leash Manners: Polite walker at your side once she settles in. When she sees other dogs, she may get stiff and focused; treats, distance, and a front-clip harness help her reset. She's learning check-ins and responds to patient, reward-based guidance.

LGA is affectionate and leans in for pets-she simply needs consistent, kind coaching to feel secure. Her foster calls her a "sweet, loving mush" who will lounge near you all day.

My foster writes: Let little LaGuardia love you! This perfect-sized munchkin wants nothing more than to snuggle and give kisses. A chill, low-energy dog, LGA doesn't need much in her golden years. While she does ask everyone to pay the cheese tax, really all that she wants is a quiet home, a comfy couch to lie on, and someone to be her favorite person to make her a happy girl!
