Spike has been reported to display some concerning behaviors at the care centers, he has been reported to display a tense body and be fearful with some staff and his former foster parents have reported he is reactive to dogs and will snap/lunge toward them as well as whomever handles him and pulls him away from dogs. We recommend placement with a New Hope rescue partner who is able to provide an experienced, adult-only foster home. Force-free, reward based training and/or consultation with a professional trainer/behaviorist is highly recommended.
