Lawrence was surrendered into care as a stray, so his past behavior in a home enviornment is unknown. Lawrence has not acclimated well to the shelter environment and has displayed stiff body language with handlers and kennel fighting. On one occasion, he attempted to redirect onto the handler while walking him past other dogs' kennels. Due to these concerns, we recommend fo him to be placed in an adult-only home through a New Hope partner that can address these challenges with the use of force-free, reward-based training.
