Meet Adonis the Great.

Adonis is a 4 month old puppy who full of special quriks, fun times and takes pride in mastering being mischevious.

At 4 months old, Adonis weighs in at about 40 lbs and will be an estimated 65+ lbs full grown. Currently, his long legs, pony paws and floppy limbs are a ton of fun to watch bouncing around all while knowing that he will swoon bloom into a regal gent.

In addition to his stunning great looks and his award winning personality - Adonis is the epitome of what it means to be a puppy. Adonis is limitlessly energetic and prefers not to be left to his own devices. In fact, if left up to Adonis - he would engage and train with his human all day. Adonis' desires arent without warrant however as he is eerily intelligent and able to master commands in record speed. In his first two weeks of foster care, Adonis has learned his sit, stay, come, down, hush and speak commands. Additionally, he is a loose leash walker, checking in with his handler every 15-20 feet for a yummy treat and desiring to be redirected for pets and affection when he see's other dogs or experiences new city sounds. Adonis has mastered his impulse control work - and learned his "okay" command which gives him permission to eat and take treats.

Adonis' foster parents have a sneaky, unconfirmed suspicion that he may be a weimeranar mix given their telltale deep, booming playful bark and his extreme zest for life including his pretty consistent vocality. Adonis isn't only a vocal player but he also loves to have "conversations" with his humans - often answering back when they talk to him or walking off with grumbles when he does not get his way.

Adonis is fully potty trained on weepads and is actively working on housebreaking. He sleeps through the night in his crate and there is nothing he would't do for a treat - he is obsessively food motivated making it a very easy task to mold Adonis into the dog you need him to be. Adonis would be a magnificent candidate for an active household or an adopter who has a passion for bonding with their pup through training or a spening time nature - biking, running or hiking.

Adonis is kid friendly and adopters should keep in mind that his lanky limbs are still slinky as he grows into his body so he may be wobbly around really little ones especially when he becomes excitable and jumpy.

In Adonis' happy go lucky ways - he's pretty certain that everyone is. a friend, especially if they are furry. Adonis would do well with an older playmate who can happily correct him if he gets overly rambunctious along with a furry friend who won't mind his extremely vocal and dominant play style. Some dogs may view Adonis as the little sibling they never asked for while others may view him as a project worth taking on because once Adonis' realizes you love him - there is absolutely nothing in the world he wouldn't do for you.

With 3-4 daily walks or maybe even a jog here and there, Adonis will be a content young king who would be happy to chew on a duck foot, play with a squeaky toy or even play "catch me if you can" with his persons socks when they are left laying around.

Under the Adonis's pretty stressful and oftern overstimulating puppy behavior - his personality is one in a million. Adonis LOVES human touch and even in his moments when his puppy tunnel vision has taken over and his mood is completely chaotic, the stroke of a human touch will calm him down instantly. Adonis' knows that the way to a persons heart is curling up closely under their arm and laying his head on their chest or lap. Adonis find a way to always touch his person, wether it be a paw on your arm while you work from the sofa or jumping onto your work desk and aggressively squeezing between your lap and your laptop! Adonis has no qualms showing his people how much he loves and appreciates his people and believes that everyone should enjoy both his gigantic personality and his gigantic puppy physique..

More than anything, Adonis is a joy to have in the home and is a daily reminder of how fulfilling life could be. Adonis makes the person he loves feel like they hung the moon and the entire world should be jealous that they belong to him. Adonis is a dog who heals any trauma from past rejection and shows you what true, unconditional and selfless love feels like. Adonis is a confident dog who doesn't mind expressing his needs until they are met - and sometimes that means incessant barking or silly zoomies yet somehow he has the magic power of reminding his person that when he shows his unique, velcro, demanding personality it really just is a testament to how safe they make him feel.

Adonis is the furthest thing from an easy puppy, he may make his adopter reconsider their decision however nothing worth having ever comes easy. Adonis is ntuitively a soul dog and would thrive with a human whose as excited about living life with him as he is with them.
