Meet Mika!

Mika arrived at ACC as a stray and is now enjoying life in a foster home! This sweet girl is described as playful and affectionate once she gets to know you.

My Ideal Home

Mika thrives in a calm and consistent environment. She can feel unsure in new situations and does best with a patient approach. Her foster parent is working on muzzle acclimation to help her manage triggers on walks, which her new family can continue.

Things to Know

Mika is generally healthy. She can get excited in her kennel and benefits from calm routines. She is still building her leash manners and can get worked up around other dogs and people on leash, so continued training in this area will be beneficial. She has shown some sensitivity around her rear legs during exams. Mika is currently not on any medications.
